Terms of Service

1. Who can use All Science Academy

A parent, legal guardian or other responsible adult (for example, a teacher or co-op leader with parents' permission) must create the family account and each student sign-in. Account holders must be at least 18. Students of any age may use the courses under that adult's supervision. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle students' information.

2. Your account

• Keep passwords private. You're responsible for activity on your family's accounts.
• Give accurate information, and keep your email current so we can reach you about your account.
• Each student sign-in is for one student. Your plan sets how many student seats you have.
• Tell us right away if you think someone has got into your account.

3. Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans are billed through Stripe, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you subscribe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account page ("Manage billing"). Access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Unless the law requires otherwise, payments aren't refundable for partly used periods. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we'll do our best to make it right.
• We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you by email first, and the change applies from your next renewal.
• Families who reach All Science Academy through the Xogos platform may have access arranged through Xogos instead; Xogos's own terms then apply to that arrangement.

4. Using the courses

Please use All Science Academy for learning, and don't:

• Share your sign-in, or resell or redistribute the courses or their content.
• Copy lessons, exams or answer keys in bulk, or use automated tools to scrape the site.
• Try to get around security, exam rules or other students' accounts.
• Upload anything unlawful, hurtful, or that shows or identifies other people without their permission.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after telling you why whenever we reasonably can.

5. Safety in hands-on activities

Activities are designed around household materials and include safety notes. An adult should supervise, especially where an activity involves heat, sharp tools, water or anything that shouldn't be tasted. You're responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for your child and done safely.

6. Our content, and yours

• The courses (lessons, exams, illustrations and software) belong to Xogos Gaming or its licensors. Your subscription lets your family use them for your own learning. It doesn't transfer ownership.
• Students' written work and photos remain theirs. You give us permission to store and display them to your family, and to share them with the Xogos Parent Portal if you use it, only to run the service.
• Videos come from third parties such as YouTube. Their creators own them, and they play under YouTube's terms.
• Guest-speaker monologues are dramatized, first-person retellings written for students and labelled as such. They are not the historical figures' actual words.

7. Grades and educational records

All Science Academy helps families teach and keep records. It is not an accredited school, and its grades and certificates aren't official transcripts unless your school, co-op or state accepts them. Checking any homeschool requirements in your state is your responsibility.

8. Accuracy and availability

We work hard to keep lessons accurate and up to date, but science and current events change. If you spot an error, please tell us. We aim to keep the site running at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.

9. Disclaimers and limits

All Science Academy is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we don't give warranties beyond those in these terms, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be waived.

10. Ending your account

You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. You can also ask us to delete your family's information, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for important changes, email account holders before the changes apply. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the updated terms.
